Modern carpet in the manner of a Navajo blanket (230 x 304cm)

This modern carpet appears unused and is thus in as new condition. Presumably commissioned in India relatively the precision to which it is made bears testament to the weaving quality of between 130/150 knots per square inch. The nap of the pile sheared very low to give a chiseled crisp finish.

The design being taken from an esteemed 19th cent second or third phase Navajo chiefs blanket however the rug might be twice the size of the blanket from which it has been copied.
