Theodor Tudoc was a Romanian carpet maker whose forgeries and “reproductions” of Anatolian carpets from the 15th 16th and 17th centuries, fooled many museums and famous collectors and scholars as J.F. Ballard, M.S. Dimand, Kurt Erdmann, Joseph V. McMullan, Ulrich Schürmann and many others.
