The yellow square fragment with boteh design is a composite likely made up from the thin decorated ends of an otherwise plain twill shawl of the period early 19th cent. Very carefully joined from several pieces. Not mounted.
Condition: The twill has a lovely supple handle having been expertly made up to render the joins invisbile on the face - With re-enforced parts verso to support the joins.
