The rug is a faithful replica of a late 16th cent rug as seen in the late medieval paintings of Lorenzo Lotto. The quality of the rug demonstrates the ability to produce rugs and carpets to a very high calibre. Woven in hand spun wool for knots and structure using natural dyes.
