Kashmir Delhiwork in silk and silver thread ( 251 x 55 cm)

This Kashmir stole was finished in either Delhi or the Punjab with embroiderey in silk and silver thread to be thus know by the popular expression of the period ' Delhi-work'

• circa 1860

Condition: some moth damage but the stole has been recently expertly backed with a fine and light cotton muslin supporting cloth.
