Balouch rugs tend to suffer from wearing quickly partly due to the fact they occupied a lowly place in the social order of carpetdom. Happily this example has hardly seen use and thus has survived in superb condition and imparts a magnificent lustre. There is some moth damage in one corner that is being dealt with.
