Delhi Pipli vintage velvet wedding parasole covers [3]

Heavily embroidered in gold thread these three covers come without a support. The slightly larger one with the face of the sun god Surya ( Sanskrit: सूर्य ) is probably from the same workshop but acquired separately.

There are some abrasions from ceremonial use and enforced with original leather supports.
