These type of carpets were popularly considered as for the continental / French export trade and made around Tianjin in 1920s and 1930s- so called as ' Peking '

The literal inscription reads from top to bottom Loose/Song Crane More Age and  the repeat border design resembles a dog of foo ( guardian lion ). Yet to be interpreted.
