These magnificent large elaborately embroidered hangings are known in Kyrgyz and smaller versions in Kasak as Tush-Kiiz and used hung ceremonially at the opposite side from the entrance of the Yurt / Boz-Ui.
This example appears to have lost a part of the cente where a triangle might have hung (see another complete version Ref. 16892)
