Probably from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ottoman Balkans, couched in ivory satin floss silk over appliqued cardboard with a floral urn beneath an elaborate arched canopy, flanked by a pair of columns, in pseudo-European late Ottoman style, lined with dusky rose cotton.

Some tiny small holes on an otherwise smooth felt. The fold marks on this piece are not permanent, however, there are lilkely fades where the light has been on it in long storage.
