Qajar child's waistcoat made from a late Saffavid silk

47 height x 164 cm shoulder and arms length  //  19 " x 64" inches

The small waistcoat appears to have been made from an early 18th cent material and the cuffs are lined with a kermani-kashmir type fine wool twill the later is datable to early 19th cent . The waistcoat otherwise is lined in a plain stripped cotton lining which includes a pocket.
