This Western area of Turkey went through a revival of standards during the 1980/1990s die the the local encouragement of the initiatives of the  Dobag cooperative .which was a UNESCO founded project. Ours is not a genuine Dobag but a free market product of the same area.

Note the beautifully preserved kilim ends and plaits.
