The embroidery is done in a metal coiled yarn in a chain stitch technique possibly from the use of a tambour onto shimmering green silk From some non-decorative quilted sewing it appears to have been once used as a quilt presumably with a cotton down now absent. The embroidery is thus without a mount of lining. The silk base is comprising of approx 14 joined pieces of varying sizes to make the whole.
There is some light staining not really noticeable
