Uzbek Samarkand Suzani embroidery border (238 x 45cm)

Removed from a large antique Suzani what remains here is one of the two longer borders. The silk embroidery is done on a hand-spun cotton and later it has been mounted onto a supporting cloth. There are some clumsy over securing embroideries done with white button thread.
