From Southern Azaibiajan this rug is technically a tapestry since it s uses an interlocked dense heavy tecnique which is reversible. It could be made by Kurds living in Southern Azerbiajan or even the Jaf Kurds but betayed as Azeri by its end finish.
There is a blue ink stain on one side of the reversible flatweave but otherwise a very robust rather heavy rug.
