Pazyryk is the German rug society, and these are the papers presented at their 1988 meeting (Volume I). Papers were presented by renowned rug experts Ahlheim, Bohmer, Bruhl & Doirfler, Buddeberg, Diehr, Ingrami, Jansen, Klose, Krausse, Kreutz, Kummerer, von Markov, Muller, Schienerl, Sindermann, Suriano, Tischer, Wackenrah and Wild. Most text is in German but the preface (Robert Pinner) and the essays by Suriano and Ingrami are in English.
