Turkish carpets particularly large carpets produced in the historic Ushak vicinity of Western Turkey have previously gone by the rather catch all title ‘ Turkey carpet ‘ since 16th century . The early 20th cent red Turkey variant such as this example were produced in quantity from 1925 to 1940.

Condition: as found some of the periphery has loose parts which would required minor restoration and further expense. Price as found .
