Looking at these photos one might imagine these are two pieces here since the colours transpose front to back. Made prior to partition, these cotton doubleweave Khes covers are a speciality of Nasarpur or Tajpur districts in Sindh province, of what is today Pakistan. Made of one single piece, the particular weave imparts a flexibility that is soft to the touch and yet robust enough to use as a throw or cover.
