A rather wonderful small fragment from what was once a Kurdish antique long runner and likely part of what might have been a triclinium set for a Shah’s audience seating.

The border design relates to the shrub carpets of 17/18th cent Kirman and what is now termed a Garous / Garrus (border)
 - colours are superb
