A mixed technique of laid silk embroidery with an appliqué border in cotton in the Kathipa style of the Hahajan merchantcaste. Some slight damages have occured due to friction of the floss silk. Such embroideries were reporedly used as canopies.

Original backing. One patch which looks to have been done from origin as its a similar tecnique
