This antique long rug or runner has a barber striped design, something which was probably originated from that of a shawl design. The piece is in worn condition but has been strengthened recently following aquisition to bring it into a usable condition. It could be used in a light traffic area, although in a passway should be carefully considered for practical puposes and to further preserve this antique.
