This little gem is the remaining part of what was once a long panel approx 4m+ in length and used as an internal divide in a tent. Being of antique origin it possesses an expression that later examples lack, both in terms of colour combination of the five constituent wool strips and careful design interpretation. Given the white parts are on cotton, it might suggest this tribal group came in contact with West Anatolian groups.
