An outstanding and rare example of this type of shirt / blouse showing influence and quality of Sindh silk embroidery although tailored in typical Balouch fashion. The Balouch people are spread across a large region from Iran and Afghanistan in the west to the Indus river in the east whilst Baluchistan territory today is so described the western part of Pakistan beneath Afghanistan. It is thought that this garment is more likely to have been made in the Indus region out what is described as Balouchistan.
Amma Abbas has made the remark " This roundel design is referred to as the 'Tikki' design, in contemporary times it is rarely executed with this finesse or with a silk thread. However traditionally this design was never embroidered with the trademark Baloch long pocket, therefore it proves the hybrid theory. Furthermore, the tikki design is executed not only in Eastern Balochistan (Balochistan areas bordering Sindh) but also in Northern Balochistan (the Pashtun areas of Balochistan). "
