This carpet size Balkan kilim was probably made in NW Bulgaria and suggests Monastir type weaving. Taste-wise it possesses a very much European Ottoman flavour. The makers may very well have migrated to Turkey in the early 1920 period. There have been several repairs which have faded slightly.
