These magnificent large elaborately embroidered hangings are known in Kyrgyz and Kasak as Tush-Kiiz and used hung ceremonially at the opposite side from the entrance of the Yurt / Boz-Ui. The Kyrgyz version being larger and the more magnificent of the two aligned cultures. This a comparatively old example on black velvet .
