Ottoman period Levant table (58h x 41w)

58h x 41w    = Just short of 2 foot high x 1 ft 4" minimum width.

The table is made of carved fruit-wood either walnut or apricot deeply engraved and decorated with bone and mother of pearl. These carpets are ordinarily assumed to have been made in Damascus but more probably produced in a variety of N. Syrian / Lebanase workshops whilst still part of the Ottoman empire.
