Portuguese Arraiolos needlework carpet (622 x 493cm)

This thin embroidered carpet is in excellent condition however it can benefit ( although not strictly necessary ) to add a lining to back the carpet as with all tapestry carpets. That additional service can be had from is at an additional cost. The carpet looks to be circa 1970 and appears unused.  Arraiolos work still continues to this day although such large carpets would require a special order at considerably higher cost than what is offered here as £3,600 + VAT ( £4,200 )
