Carpets made in the area of Sultanabad in Arak province are sometimes eulogized as Ziegler & Co. however this carpet from around 1900 was made later than the populised period but in clear response to the demands originated by that company for the more square room size proportions suitable for the European markets.
The soft red field has wear in one corner something that may be repilled at extra cost.
