This grand old carpet in the manner of Hajijalli workshop style contains an inscription reading فرش علاا نیت کربلای اسملیل which appears to be a personal dedication. There is considerable wear but the carpet remains intact and ready to be used to paraphase the current expression 'in country house condition'.
