The kilim is in as new condition having been carefully used as a hanging. One side shows signs of sun fading, although the kilim is reversible. All but the last two photos in the sequence show the fresher non-faded colours.
This piece is something of a revival and was quite possibly made as long ago as the 1980s but more likely circa 2000. Practically speaking, this quality of Turkish kilim is no longer made.
