A Lakai or Aral type silk embroidery possibly from a mafrash, bohçe or Ok Bash faces. Made up from amalgamated parts the main piece on red felted 'Stroud' type wool broadcloth with a surround on black taken from another of similar age with later applied.

Condition - has suffered moth damage (now stabilised), part of the back is unpicked yielding a 19th century print
