Uzbek Lakai type antique embroidery • late 19th cent

A Lakai or Aral type silk embroidery possibly from a mafrash, bohçe or even from Ok Bash faces. Made up from amalgamated parts the main piece on red felted 'Stroud' type wool broadcloth with a surround on black taken from another of similar age with later applied.
Condition: Has suffered moth damage part of the back is unpicked revealing original Russian print and left exposed.
