The basic cloth is made up of narrow 8cm handwoven strips hand-sdewn together. The motif on the font side forms a pocket. The front of the robe is shorter than the back and from loose shape as well it might be extrapolated as being a form of equestrian costume which is a distinct culture of Burkino Faso.
